Shaprio thanks Netanyahu for welcoming Obama visit

US Ambassador Dan Shapiro on Sunday thanked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for his greetings in regards to US President Barack Obama's upcoming visit to Israel.

On his Facebook page, Shapiro wrote that both himself and Obama see the visit as an "opportunity to reaffirm the deep and enduring ties between the United States and Israel," adding that both nations will "coordinate our efforts to deal with all the common challenges we face in the Middle East."
