Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef hospitalized again

Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was hospitalized again at the Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem for “tests and treatment,” the Hadassah Medical Organization spokeswoman said on Sunday. Prof. Chaim Lotan, head of the cardiology branch, said the 92-year-old rabbi “feels well and is under supervision and care.” A few weeks ago, Yosef underwent back surgery to treat pain following a fall at home.
