An IDF soldier is suspected of raping a female comrade at a base in central Israel some two-and-a-half months ago, Israel Radio reported Tuesday night. The soldier was arrested last month after the complainant told several of her fellow female soldiers about the alleged rape, and one of them reported it to their commanders. The accused denied the allegation, saying the sex was consensual.
