Tel Aviv police on Wednesday night arrested a man suspected of stabbing his wife to death in their home in the Hatikvah neighborhood of south Tel Aviv.

The 64-year-old man called police around 1:00 a.m. to tell them that he had just murdered his wife, and ambulances who arrived at the home ruled the woman, also in her sixties, dead at the scene.

The husband had been taken into custody.
