Syrian TV: Suicide bomb kills 4 in Damascus Old City

BEIRUT - A suicide bomb hit the central neighborhood of Bab Touma in Damascus, a famous Christian quarter of the capital's Old City, state television said on Thursday.
At least four people were killed and several more wounded, Syria TV said.
The blast hit near an ancient church on the Old City's famous "Straight Street" and a luxury restaurant that was once frequented by President Bashar Assad and his inner circle.
News outlets loyal to the rebels fighting for Assad's ouster said the blast was caused by a mortar bomb.
