Rebel forces detonated explosives under a Syrian Army base near Idib in northwestern Syria on Wednesday night. A report by Israel Radio stated that dozens of casualties were reported by human rights groups.

According to the report, rebel forces were able to tunnel under the Syrian Army base and plant a great number of explosives which they subsequently detonated.

The Syrian Islamic Front has claimed responsibility for the attack.
