TA man detained after entering Egypt without passport

A Tel Aviv resident was detained in Egypt after he was caught without a passport, or any other type of documentations, in the Sinai town of Taba, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported on Sunday.

The man had reportedly crossed over illegally from Eilat to visit the tomb of Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira in the Egyptian city Damanhour.Security sources said the man is a drug addict, according to Ma'an.
