Tender for roadside lighting systems to be launched

The Israel National Roads Company announced Sunday that it would be offering a tender to streamline the lighting systems along the country's roads. The tender will be launched in three months time for both domestic and international ESCOs (Energy Service Company). Not prejudging any method, the company is looking to reduce its NIS 40 million electric bill from 80,000 lights. The company is interested in best available technologies such as efficient bulbs, smart systems and other methods.
