Third suspect arrested in rape at apartment in Hatikva in south Tel Aviv

Police on Saturday night arrested a third suspect in the rape of a Tel Aviv woman who told police she was assaulted inside an apartment in the Hatikva neighborhood of the city last month.
Tel Aviv police say the woman was out at a club in Holon on the night of August 23 when she called a friend to come out with her. Her friend came to the club and after a short while the friend suggested they go visit some friends of hers in Tel Aviv, and they then made their way to the house on Netivot street in south Tel Aviv.
Police said that not long after they arrived the woman was raped, possibly by multiple suspects. As of now, police have arrested three men, all of them in their early 20s, who are suspects in the crime. The friend was also arrested after the crime, but was questioned and released, and is not suspected of being responsible for the alleged sexual assault.
