In a wide-ranging speech, presidential candidate Donald Trump promised a "total veto" of UN initiatives to force a peace framework on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, "dismantle" the Iran nuclear deal, and move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
He condemned President Barack Obama as the "worst thing to happen to Israel" and former Secretary of State and current Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, with both comments receiving sustained applause, as was the case throughout the speech.
It was unclear if the planned protests against Trump's speech made any significant impact in terms of attendance.
