Tunisia parliament votes to approve new government

TUNIS) - Tunisia's parliament voted late on Friday to give confidence to the government of Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, which includes Islamists and leftists, unionists and independents, a Reuters witness said.

The Unity government was backed by 167 of the parliament's 217 members.
