Turkey says it has lost touch with fighter jet near Syria

ANKARA - Turkey's military said on Monday that it has lost connection with one of its F-16 fighter jets in Osmaniye, a southern city near the border with Syria.

Search and rescue operations for the lost plane are under way, the military said in a statement.
