The British Foreign Ministry has denounced the bombing in which five Iranian Republican Guard commanders were killed on Sunday. A ministry spokesman said, "The British Government condemns the terrorist attack in the Province of Sistan and Baluchistan in Iran and the sad loss of life which it caused. Terrorism is abhorrent wherever it occurs. Our sympathies go to those who have been killed or injured in the attack and their families." Iran has accused the US, Pakistan and British of connections to terrorists responsible for the bombing.
