US reports 25 air strikes against Islamic State in Iraq and Syria

The United States and its allies conducted 25 air strikes against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria on Friday, a US military statement said.

Twenty-four air raids were carried out against targets near 10 cities in Iraq, including Mosul and Ramadi, it said. In Syria, an Islamic State vehicle was destroyed in an air attack near Al Hawl, the statement added.
