The unemployment rate for October fell to 5 percent, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced Monday.The figure represents the lowest unemployment rate in 30 years, Army Radio reported. Unemployment dropped from 6.5% in October 2010 and 7.5% a year prior.The Bureau emphasized that the statistic was preliminary, and will likely be adjusted to reflect new data in the coming months.
