WASHINGTON -US President Donald Trump will meet with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on May 4 in New York City, a White House spokesman said on Tuesday.

The bilateral meeting will follow a speech by Trump aboard the USS Intrepid, an aircraft carrier turned museum on the Hudson River, to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea, a major World War Two naval battle during which the United States and Australia fought the Japanese, spokesman Sean Spicer said.
