Health Minister to meet London counterpart to discuss medical cooperation with Britain

At the request of Tourism Minister MK Yariv Levin, he will also represent Israel at the international tourist fair being carried out in Britain.

Health Minister Ya’acov Litzman departed for London on Sunday to begin an official visit to Britain. He will meet with British health secretary Alister Burt and discuss ways of strengthening ties and boosting cooperation between the health systems of the two countries.
The Ger hassid and MK of the United Torah Judaism party will also visit hospitals and other medical institutions in Britain and meet with local health officials and representatives of the Jewish community.
At the request of Tourism Minister MK Yariv Levin, he will also represent Israel at the international tourist fair being carried out in Britain.
The Germany-born Litzman, who spent his formative years in Brooklyn, New York before coming on aliya at the age of 18, speaks English and will not need an interpreter.
