Real Madrid announced yesterday the signing of a collaboration agreement with Sportech Interachtech, the Spanish subsidiary of Israeli tech firm Interacting Technology, in which the company will collaborate in the development of the official app for the legendary soccer club.
Launched in 2015, the Real Madrid app offer exclusive fan content, including summaries, interviews, and footage of games within 24 hours of their conclusion. The club’s collaboration with Sportech Interachtech stems from its desire to implement gamification tools, develop communications and contribute to its monetization.
Commenting on the agreement, CEO and founder of Interacting Technology Liav Eliash said: "The combination between Real Madrid’s international brand and our community management and monetization capabilities creates a unique potential that will affect the entire global fan community and make them feel closer to the club.”
