Bank of Israel announces reduction in interest rate for April 2009

The Bank of Israel (BoI) on Tuesday has announced a reduction in the interest rate for April 2009. The interest rate will be dropped to 0.5 percent, according to a BoI statement. The statement also predicted that in one year's time, in March 2010, the interest will have risen to 1%.
