Elron Electronic Industries Ltd. said Sunday its subsidiary, Advanced Metal Technologies (AMT), has raised $14 million in a round of financing led by Shamrock Investment Growth Fund. Elron said it contributed $5m. in the round and that following the transaction it will hold an approximate 34% share in the unit.
AMT develops technologies for amorphous and nano-crystalline materials, for commercial applications used in electrical heating, sensoring, electronic shielding and electronic components.
