Rami Levi chain Q1 profit climbs 58%

Sales climbed 22 percent to NIS 265m., the company said in a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Rami Levi Chain Stores Hashikma Marketing 2006 Ltd. said its profit in the first quarter rose to NIS 14.6 million, or NIS 1.216 a share, from NIS 9.2m., or NIS 0.768 a share, a year earlier. Sales climbed 22 percent to NIS 265m., the company said Sunday in a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
