Lior Suchard, the acclaimed Israeli mentalist and performer, managed to draw several smiles from the reputably glum rapper Kanye West earlier this week.

Suchard, a Haifa native and a fixture on US daytime and late night talk shows, was part of the entertainment at West's 41st birthday party earlier this week. West, his wife Kim Kardashian and many of the other famous party-goers looked in awe as Suchard performed tricks at the dinner party.

Suchard used the couple in several of his tricks, as well as some of the other famous faces in attendance, including family members Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

In several posts on social media, West has a huge grin on his face as Suchard entertains him and the other guests, including by bending a spoon with his mind.

Suchard first met Kardashian on The Tonight Show in 2011, and clearly left a big impression.

Earlier this year the master mentalist made headlines in Israel when he was stumped by none other than Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
