Thousands of Chabad rabbis met in New York for their ‘kinus shluchim,’ an annual event in which the emissaries of the Lubavitcher rebbe, who died in 1994, convene and compare notes.

Some 5,200 of the hassidic sect’s rabbis from more than 80 countries gathered in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, over the weekend for the 31st annual event.
