R. Buckminster Fuller was a late flowering genius, an architect, designer, inventor and author, who was born in 1895, and died 30 years ago on July 1st 1983. He is best remembered for his development of the intrinsic mathematics of the geodesic dome, for which he was granted a patent in 1954
I remember him for two of his quotes:
The first, from Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth published in 1963:
“Now there is one outstandingly important fact regarding Spaceship Earth, and that is that no instruction book came with it.”
The second - an extract from a poem published in No More Secondhand God and Other Writings by Anchor Books during 1963 which   reads in part:
“... Here is God's purpose - for God to me, it seems, is a verb not a noun, ... connoting the vast harmonic reordering of the universe from unleashed chaos of energy.. . ."
He could not have been more wrong!
God is the Creator of the Universe and not only did He provide an instruction book with it – the Torah, but set up an educational system for the education of teachers, the Levii’im, and the teachers of teachers – the Cohanim. For 40 years in the Desert God closely supervised the implementation of the educational system for the children of Israel, His people. He then nurtured them for hundreds of years in the Holy Land, providing them with Prophets, Kings, and Talmidei Chachamim.
Finally in the year 422 BCE – according to our calculations, upon the destruction of the Holy Temple, God implemented the second stage of His educational project – He moved His people to Babylon – the area where Avraham – His prize pupil, had come from – a pilot project to extend His Teachings to the neighbors of Avraham and their descendents.
After 70 years He brought them back to Eretz Yisroel under Ezra where they flourished once again.
Although God’s plan was for Mankind to embrace the Seven Noachide Commandments, the people of Babylon did not accept them. Many of the teachers, Shevet Levi, also fell by the wayside and did not return with Ezra.
About 491 years later, God implemented the third stage of his educational project – to extend His teachings to the descendants of Avraham and Yitzchak, by dispersing the Jews amongst them.
The people of Edom and Yishmael did not accept the Seven Noachide Commandments. They actively reviled and persecuted the Jews – whom God had chosen to be the Educators of Mankind.
About 1888 years after the destruction of the Second Temple, God brought His people back to the Holy Land, where they are flourishing once again, by the grace of God.
We are now in the fourth stage: The Torah has been translated into all the languages of the world and God’s teachings are open to all the nations and peoples of the world.
Instead of recognizing and abiding by God’s teachings, mankind has and is studiously rebelling against them. Once again the world is reviling Israel and the Jewish people.
As the Passover Haggadah writes “For not just one alone has risen against us to destroy us, but in every generation they rise against us to destroy us.”
Ezekiel in Chapter 36 describes the restoration of Israel as it is today, with the land fertile and prosperous. He then goes on to prophesy in Chapters 38 and 39 about the War of Gog and Magog at the end of days. Chapter 38, Verses 15 and 16, refer to "a great company, and a mighty army… that will come up against Israel."
World media today displays the demonization of Israel by all the nations of the World. Now, we are threatened with weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and conventional war.
The Vilna Gaon on the Midrash Mechilta (Shmot 14:20) and the Midrash Talpiyot say, that the War of Gog and Magog shall begin three hours before "Netz Hachama" (crack of dawn) on Hoshana Rabba, the last day of Sukkot, and shall last three hours only.
With changed vocalization the word Gog means a roof, while a Sukkah is covered only with Schach, which does not protect one from the elements.
We demonstrate to the world our trust in God by sitting in a Sukkah during Sukkot.
Its not too early to plan to sit in a Sukkah this Sukkot – the safest place to be during the War of Gog and Magog. So do make arrangements to sit in a Sukkah  this coming year and every future Sukkot thereafter, until the prophecy materializes.
