On Thursday, May 30, the Tal Center will hold a fund-raising event for young people with cancer – the “End Cancer Campaign” – at the Schmelzer family home in Savyon. The purpose of the evening is to raise money for the establishment of clinics to support young cancer patients in Israeli oncology institutes.The Center was founded by Zohar and Yankele Yakobson, in memory of their daughter Tal.The evening’s hostesses are Atalia and Ofra Reif Schmelzer. The event will mark the beginning of summer and will include performances by singers Rotem Cohen, Ania Bukstein and Shefita. In addition, there will be short stand-up performances by Zvika Hadar and Nelly Tagar. Tzufit Grant will deliver opening remarks along with Zohar Yakobson.There will also be mingling and dinner.
