Eatliz & Consider the Source – After an intensive touring schedule in the USA earlier this year, this double feature act is performing in Israel. Consider the Source is a New York jam band that combines Mediterranean funk, Eastern influences, psychedelic and outer space rock beats. Birthmark: HaBima Theater – An original Israeli drama about a young couple in contemporary ultra- Orthodox society. Between the engagement party and the wedding of the rabbi's daughter and her beloved, a dark secret is revealed that threatens their love story. Footnote – The story of a great rivalry between a father and son, both eccentric professors in the Talmud department of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The son has an addictive dependency on the embrace and accolades that the establishment provides, while his father is a stubborn purist with a fear and profound revulsion for what the establishment stands for, yet beneath his contempt lies a desperate thirst for some kind of recognition. The Israel Prize, Israel's most prestigious national award, is the jewel that brings these two to a final, bitter confrontation.
