The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. is projecting at least a Conservative minority government victory for Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Harper is the first major world leader to face election since the global financial meltdown. He was projected to keep his job Tuesday as Canadians voted in a national ballot.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Conservative Party leader picked up enough votes to win the parliamentary majority he had sought when he called early elections last month.
