Lightning kills five children in Bangladesh

Lightning during a rainstorm killed five young boys who were playing cricket in a field in Kaldair village, Mymensingh district, in northern Bangladesh, news reports said Monday. Lightning is responsible for several deaths each summer in Bangladesh. The children, aged 9 to 11, were playing cricket when the lightning struck, the reports said, without providing further details. Two brothers were among the dead, the reports said.
