Man shoots four teenagers near Detroit high school, killing one

A gunman stepped out of a car and shot four teenagers on a primary-school lawn near their Detroit high school shortly after classes let out Thursday, killing one of them, police said. No arrests had been made by the evening in the shootings near Henry Ford High School, and a motive had not been determined, Deputy Police Chief James Tate said. Henry Ford junior Christopher Walker, 16, was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said. Three other victims were in serious condition. One was a 15-year-old female student with a gunshot wound and the other two were teens who no longer attend the institution, Detroit Public Schools spokesman Steve Wasko told the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News.
