McCain gains 4% lead over Obama in turnaround weekend poll

Republican presidential candidate John McCain led Democratic rival Barack Obama by four percent according to the results of a USA Today/ Gallup poll published on Monday morning.
It marks the largest advantage for the Republicans since January.
The results showed McCain leading the Democratic candidate 50%-46%. The USA Today report cites the Republican National Convention, held on Thursday, as the main source for this sudden turnaround for McCain.
