Media: Indian ruling party UPA alliance leads in early counting

Indian media reports on Saturday said the ruling Congress party-led alliance is leading in early election results from India's month-long election.
CNN-IBN television reported that current trends indicate the Congress-led alliance could win 215 seats, and the alliance led by the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party could take 135.
More than half of the votes had been counted Saturday.
