By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
Pakistan's new prime minister said his government would seek to reinstate senior judges purged when President Pervez Musharraf imposed emergency rule last year.
Speaking in parliament Saturday, Yousaf Raza Gilani said the government would "work for the reinstatement" of the judges.
Musharraf purged the Supreme Court in November to halt legal challenges to him continuing as president.
