A suicide attack killed seven people and wounded at least 25 others in northwest Pakistan on Sunday, a police official said.
Jehangir Khattak said the bomber targeted police investigating a minor blast in the town of Dera Ismail Khan near the Afghan border.
The dead included five police officers and two civilians, Khattak said. The majority of the wounded were also police officers, he said.
