A Canadian Embassy employee in Paris fell ill Monday shortly after a suspicious package arrived in the mail, police said, adding that officers were investigating whether the two events were linked. Paris' police headquarters said officials were investigating whether the package might have contained harmful radioactive, biological or chemical materials. The avenue where the embassy is located was closed off to traffic, and the embassy did not answer telephone calls.
