Report: 11 dead in Brazil plane crash

Brazilian media reported Saturday that 11 people died when a small plane crashed near a resort in the country's northeast. The Web site of the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper said a King Air model plane exploded near a private air strip in the resort destination of Trancoso. The newspaper and other Brazil media reports said the plane left Sao Paulo Friday evening and crashed at 9:10 p.m. Eight passengers and three crew members were reportedly on board.
