Six people were killed in two separate clashes in Indian controlled Kashmir between the Indian military and suspected Islamic separatists, the army said Monday. In a raid on a militant hide-out, one soldier and one gunman were killed in a night-long firefight that ended at dawn Monday, said army spokesman Col. Heman Juneja . Troops also shot and killed four suspected militants as they infiltrated from neighboring Pakistan, Juneja said.
