South Korea says North Korea has restarted nuclear work

South Korea said it has confirmed that North Korea started work to restore its nuclear facilities. The South Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement Wednesday that South Korea, the United States and other members of a six-party group of countries involved in nuclear negotiations with the North are working closely together to determine how to respond to Pyongyang's latest move. Earlier Wednesday, Japan's public broadcaster NHK and Kyodo News agency reported that North Korea started putting its Yongbyon nuclear facility back together Tuesday, days after it halted disablement work.
