Subway train derails in east London

A subway train derailed in east London during rush-hour Thursday. One person was injured in the accident, which police said was not terror-related. One passenger suffered a minor leg injury when the Central line train derailed at 9:04 a.m. between the Bethnal Green and Mile End stations, British Transport Police said. Paramedics were attending the scene, but there were no immediate reports of further injuries. The accident was reportedly caused by an obstruction on the tracks, according to Transport of London. A large section of the underground line was suspended, and authorities were taking hundreds of people off the train.
