US to absorb 80,000 refugees from countries around the world

The US will absorb 80,000 refugees from around the world in 2009, Israel Radio reported on Wednesday morning.
Among the refugees, 19,000 will hail from the Middle East and South Asia. A further 19,000 will come from Eastern Asia and 12,000 from Africa.
