Ahmadinejad: Iran must control nuclear fuel

Iran will not accept Western proposals to abandon its program to create nuclear fuel and take enriched uranium from outside sources, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday. Ahmadinejad told reporters in New York that Iran could not guarantee that other nations would keep promises to supply Iran's planned reactors. He also said that he did not believe the United States would launch a military attack over Iran's nuclear program.
