Former Chief of the IDF Gabi Ashkenazi "lies in [Police] investigations, leaks [state] secrets, and "speaks badly of IDF soldiers," the Likud says in a new elections video released on Friday afternoon.

The video presents top Blue and White politician Ashkenazi in a black and white photo alongside a dramatic voice over in which he is accused, among other things, of "leaving behind him the smell of a dying carcass in the room."

The last statement was reportedly said by his current partner in Blue and White Benny Gantz.

The video goes on the show an edited collection of news-reports with Channel 10 reporter Ayala Hasson claiming Ashkenazi leaked "the second most important secret in the State of Israel" and that he leaked that three IDF soldiers were "drug dealers."

Hasson responded on social media calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "not to use my work as a reporter to your political campaign needs."

She added she doesn't recall Netanyahu ever using her work when she reported on cases he was at the center of.

He is "unfit to sit in government" the voice over in the video claims, adding that the other Blue and White leaders Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz are "Left. Weak."
