Hatnua leader Tzipi Livni launched her campaign for the upcoming elections, making 'the battle for democracy' the center of it.
In a video released by Hatnua, Livni warns the Israeli public that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his colleagues will attempt to destroy the pillars of the Israeli society, using examples such as the Declaration of Independence and the values of the nation.
Livni referred to her parents fighting the British to create a Jewish and democratic state in Israel, as well as listing her former roles to strengthen her claims and her role as defender of democracy in Israel.
Last week Livni posted a video slamming Bnei Brak bylaw banning billboards with women’s photos.
