Lebanese news: There is an 'unprecedented' ugliness in Israeli elections

Lebanese news channel Al Mayadeen slammed the state of Israeli politics in a special segment devoted to the April elections.

Lebanese news channel Al Mayadeen slammed the state of Israeli politics during a special segment aired on Saturday night, saying it had "sunk to an unprecedented low" ahead of the April 9 elections.
 
"How could [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu appoint [current Blue and White leader Benny] Gantz to IDF Chief of Staff," the Lebanese expert being interviewed said, "and now accuse him of having mental problems?"  
The interviewee was referring to recent posts by Netanyahu's Likud Party that claimed Gantz was suffering from a mental collapse and is therefore unfit to be prime minister.
The posts were made following an interview with Gantz on Channel 12 in which he stammered and repeated the name of  interviewer Yonit Levy numerous times.
