Ticket holders for the three sold-out Backstreet Boys concerts will still get a chance to see the beloved pop band.

Backstreet Boys' Howie reaches out to Israel

The American boy-band Backstreet Boys have rescheduled their three sold-out Israel concerts, which had to be canceled due to Operation Protective Edge over the summer, promoter Tal Sharif announced on Wednesday.

Concert-goers who purchased tickets for the original July shows will now get to see the band play on May 19, 20 and 21 at the Ra’anana Amphitheater.

The veteran US pop stars announced on July 20 that they would have to cancel their three sold-out shows, originally scheduled for July 29, 30 and 31. “This is a major disappointment for the band and fans as this was to be our first visit to Israel and we looked forward to meeting our fans,” a statement in the band’s name said at the time. “We’re already working with the producers on new dates during spring 2015 and will notify everyone about this as soon as possible. Sending lots of love to everyone.”

The popular boy-band has continued to produce albums, with their latest, In a World Like This, released just last year. The band still retains a huge following in Israel and what was originally supposed to be just one concert in Israel quickly snowballed into three, due to high demand.

Tickets for the show are currently selling for between NIS 359 and NIS 995. Information on ticket sales is available at *2207.
