High-profile American funnyman Jim Gaffigan is bringing the laughs back to Israel on June 30, at the Mann Auditorium in Tel Aviv. Gaffigan, who has established himself as one of today’s top-working comedians, with a stand-up act consisting of “clean” observations on everything from Catholicism to eating habits, made the announcement on his Twitter page, writing: “I’m excited for my show in Tel Aviv. Tickets on sale December 26.”
Gaffigan performed in Israel twice in 2010 during a family vacation: a show at the Arab-Hebrew Theater in Jaffa, and a last-minute impromptu appearance at the cozy downtown Jerusalem club, Off the Wall.
Gaffigan has produced Grammy-nominated comedy specials, authored a book, and stars in the TV Land series The Jim Gaffigan Show.
