Top Dutch DJ Tiesto to return to Israel

Grammy - w i n n i n g Dutch DJ and record producer Tiesto is returning to Israel to perform at Rishon Live Park on October 13. Tiesto, whose real name is Tijs Michiel Verwest, last performed in Israel at the 2013 Blu4Dance concert in Eilat.

Voted “The Greatest DJ Of All Time” by Mixmag in 2011 and the No. 1 DJ by Rolling Stone, Tiesto’s first solo album, In My Memory, was released in 2001 and gave him several major hits that launched his career. His second studio album, Just Be, was released in 2004 and the same year he performed at the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.

Since then, he’s headlined festivals around the globe including Ultra Music Festival, Stereosonic, Coachella and Tomorrowland/TomorrowWorld.

As part of the Rishon concert, Tiesto will be accompanied by 21-year-old Dutch electronic music producer and DJ Oliver Heldens, who is currently ranked the number one house DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs.
