A fire broke out near the Church of Mary Magdalene, the Russian Orthodox church on the Mount of Olives, killing one woman on Sunday morning, according to Magen David Adom.

The woman, an 80-year-old nun, suffered from 3rd degree burns and was found by fireman in the single-story building without a pulse.
The fire occurred on church grounds in A-Tur, a majority Arab neighborhood on the Mount of Olives.
