Jerusalem ranked as 8th best ecosystem for Life Science startups
Jerusalem featured in the report for two Sub-Sector: The AI, Big Data and Analytics and the Life Sciences.

The 2019 Global Startup Ecosystem Report ranked Jerusalem as the 8th best ecosystem for Life Science startups."Jerusalem should be a light to the world from a create and innovation perspective. It is a place where new solutions emerge that can solve real-world problems in health, automotive, and any industry that can make life better," the report stated.Jerusalem featured in the report for its success in two sub-sector: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Analytics and Life Sciences.Under the AI, Big Data and Analytics Sub-Sector, Jerusalem is mentioned for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's science school, which is the largest in Israel as well as becoming "Intel's world center for 'Autonomous Vehicles." The report also mentions that DataHack, the largest data-science hackathon and community is based in the city.In terms of Life Sciences, Jerusalem holds the title of "highest density of Life Sciences startups in the world," along with San Diego, naming some of the most renowned companies such as BrainQ and Orcam.The Global Startup Ecosystem Report ranks cities for their contribution, promotion and success in different startup sub-sectors, with the special 2019 edition of Life Science.
