Once a year, Israel's leading voices in the fields of diplomacy and defense gather at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya to talk and listen about the most pressing issues affecting the country, the region and the world. Hosted by the Institute for Policy and Strategy, the Herzliya Conference makes for three days of intensive speeches, panels and roundtable discussions featuring some of the country's leading government officials, business people and academics.Among the participants this year are President Reuven Rivlin, IDF Chief of General Staff Gadi Eisenkot, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Special Presidential Envoy on ISIS Brett McGurk.
