Six rescued as boat stranded on Sea of Galilee

The two men and four children, ages 2 to 7, were rescued after their boat was blown from shore by a strong wind and then became entangled in marine vegetation.

A Kinneret Marine Police unit successfully rescued two adults and four children who were adrift on the Sea of Galilee in a rubber dinghy about a kilometer from shore Monday evening.
The two men and four children, aged 2, 4, 6 and 7, were rescued after their boat was blown away from shore by a strong wind and then became entangled in marine vegetation.
A marine police unit was dispatched and successfully rescued the stranded group within a few minutes.
Police have reiterated that anybody who enters the water should take the necessary  safety precautions.
